Appointments correspondence, 1831.

The Governor of Ala. is responsible for making appointments to various state and local offices and for signing grants and commissions. This series consists of one petition recommending P.T. Harris for the position of judge of the First Judicial Circuit, a letter of resignation from Lewis B. Ewing, and a letter from former Pickens Co. Judge L. Marshall the appointment of his successor.
